why this website?
For a long time, Michal has felt the need to define her work outside the traditional confines of academia. While she values the education she both received and is now part of generating at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Michal believes that almost all of us need more space and time to study what it means to live, and more importantly to live well– in a way that honors and acknowledges our deep embeddedness and relationality with our planet, our communities and our (full) selves. The dominant modes of education we have been offered often reproduce the logics of competition, scarcity and disembodiment that are endemic to the current crises we are living through including the collapse of White Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy, Climate Change and a more general crisis of our sense of wellbeing.
This website is an effort to begin to make her work on this more available and accessible outside the classroom. It is very much work in progress, please bear with us!
